Appalachia's Story

Appalachia was adopted from us with her sister, Himalaya when they were only 9 weeks old. Unfortunately, they were returned to us at a year old, due to no fault of their own. Even though the sisters have grown up together, they are quite independent from one another and are not bonded. They are great with other cats and have had some exposure to dogs, but will need more proper introductions and time to adjust.

Appalachia is a social and friendly girl. She loves to play, especially chasing toy mice or wrestling with her kitty foster siblings. Appalachia loves her time on your lap as much as her play time. She is a cuddle bug and enjoys one on one time with her human. She would do well in a home as the only cat or with kitties. She is currently in a foster home with a catio and enjoys sunbathing outdoors on nice days and watching the birds from her favorite perch. Appalachia is out of the kitten phase and a sweet, special girl. She's ready to find humans who will adore her endlessly!

Appalachia's adoption fee includes her spay, microchip, Felv/FIV testing, vaccines, dewormings and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Reach out to us with any questions about our gorgeous Mountain girl!

Save Them All Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
All adopters are required to complete an adoption application. In order for an adoption application to be approved, we require all pets in the home to be up to date on core vaccines (distemper and rabies) as well as flea, tick, and heartworm preventative. We do our best to match each animal with their perfect family. While some adopters may apply for a certain animal, they may not be the right fit for that animal's needs. We work closely with our adopters and want to act as a resource after adoption to make sure all transitions go smoothly.
