Annie's Story

FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED: Annie is just the cutest little tabby girl! She's about two years old, we think, and despite our originally thinking she was semi-tame, because of her circumstances, once we brought her in, it became apparent she was a tame little lovebug!

Annie had been part of a couple of litters who we think were born in the backyard of a former foster who became very ill and had to move and left 9 cats behind! These cats had been fed all their lives by this woman, and had slept inside in beds she had for them. Once the days were warmer, they spent most of their time in the backyard, and we thought they were only partially tame! So, we were quite surprised they have almost all turned out to be incredibly sweet and loving young adult cats!

Annie was only in a cage for about 3 days when we took her in. She has shown herself at all times of the day and night, gets along with the other cats, and is not shy at all. With no prompting, she was on the bed and is quite the snugglebug! She has not been up close and personal with dogs, but the foster lived on one side of a duplex where the other side had big dogs, so she has been around them. Annie would likely do well with calm kids over 6 years old.

Annie would do especially well with one of her siblings with whom she grew up, and we love adopting in pairs wherever possible! So, if you have been thinking of adopting, you couldn’t go wrong with Annie and one of her siblings or a buddy. Annie seems to get along very well with Rocky who, although not a sibling, grew up in the same home as Annie.

Annie was born in approximately March 2023.

All Angus & Friends cats are healthy, fixed, vaccinated and microchipped prior to adoption.

If you are interested in meeting this sweet girl, please text or leave a message for Deborah at (510) 909-4961, or send an email to angusnfriends@outlook.com.

Not ready to adopt? Please consider supporting our rescue efforts with a donation. All funds go directly to our cats, no amount is too small, and we are grateful for every donation.
