Piedmont Pound Paws Inc recognized her need for love and a feeling of safety. And swooped her up one day, from the same kill pound, to help her reach her dream of finding a home where she’d be loved. Little Annie, rough around the edges at first, relaxed a little, and transformed into a wonderful friend. Despite being the picture of good health, she tested positive for FeLK. This has slowed down her chances at adoption, as potential adopters don’t understand that this is not a death sentence. Annie can live a full and healthy life in the right home. Especially since she is without symptoms and healthy in every other way. She can still be adopted by the right adopter who can always keep her inside, make sure she is seen by a vet who respects and understands her needs and can passionately care for her needs as a special needs cat. Annie wants only to lay in your lap, play with you, help you clean, fix dinner, and make the beds. A few kind words, some head scratches, and a full belly are all it takes to make our girl happy!
