Annie's Story

Meet Annie — 12 Years Young and Full of Gratitude - Annie has known heartbreak, but she has never lost her gentle soul. She was abandoned late in life and found severely underweight — yet the moment she was safe, she began to purr, trust, and love again. With good food, warmth, and care, she’s now completely restored to health and ready for the happy ending she deserves.

Annie adores people and thrives on human companionship. She’ll follow you from room to room, curl up beside you, and look at you with the sweetest “thank you” eyes. She’s fine with other calm cats, but what she really dreams of is her person — someone she can bond with and love endlessly.

She takes a tiny thyroid pill once a day (which she accepts like a champ!), and otherwise she is a happy, healthy, affectionate girl who will fill your home with love.

If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will remind you every single day how much you mean to her… Annie is waiting.

Love at First Purr's Adoption Policy
Our adoption process is designed to ensure the best match between our cats and their future families. We start with a pre-screening application, followed by an interview (virtual or in-person) to learn more about the adopter’s experience and home environment. Once an applicant is deemed suitable, we arrange virtual or live visits with the cat and conduct a home check to ensure a safe environment. References may be checked as needed. If approved, the adopter completes an adoption agreement, and we provide medical records and post-adoption support to ensure a smooth transition. We are committed to placing our cats in loving, responsible homes and remain a resource for adopters after the adoption is finalized. If for any reason an adopter can no longer keep their cat, we require that the cat be returned to our rescue.
