Anne's Story

Meet Anne
Anne is the kind of cat who chooses her people - and when she does, it's something truly special!

She's a gentle, thoughtful soul who blossoms through trust rather than rushing affection. Once she feels safe, Anne likes to stay close, following the quiet rhythm of your day, stopping by for soft pets and long scratches. She's becoming more comfortable being held, but her favorite way to show love is simply being near you. And if you've earned her trust? You'll be rewarded with deep, content purrs that feel like a small victory!

Anne would be happiest in a home with another cat. She gains confidence from feline companionship and does beautifully sharing space. She's also comfortable around dogs once she knows them - calmly moving through the room, unbothered and at ease. A peaceful home suits her best, as loud noises can still make her nervous.

She loves time in the catio, where she can safely enjoy fresh air and sunshine - a little reminder that life can be calm and beautiful.

Anne simply is waiting for the person who understands that love doesn't always arrive loudly. For someone patient and kind, Anne will be a deeply rewarding companion - one who grows more confident and affectionate with each passing day.

If you're looking for a cat who will quietly become your shadow, your calm presence, your soft place to land - Anne may be the one you've been waiting for.

Pause4Change's Adoption Policy
Due to integration issues, there are some pets with incorrect statues or are missing from Petfinder. Please visit our website for the most up to date information. We first do an online application through our website, then if we think the application aligns with our mission we do a phone screening, from here if they still seem like a good fit we do an initial meet and greet with the foster home, if that goes well the animal then goes for a home visit for the day where the foster home gets to go see the house and make sure there are no concerns. From there the adoption will proceed. If the dog / cat is not spayed yet they will go into foster to adopt until the surgery is performed.
