Angus's Story

This cat is in a private foster home. Note that calls to Minnkota Persian Rescue will not be answered, please email his private foster home at karigent@yahoo.com directly if you believe he might be a good match for your family and home.

Angus is the most people affectionate boy around. All he wants is to be by his person's side purring and cuddling all day and night. This poor boy was taken in with a group of 20 cats and kittens that were going to be abandoned outside. He found his way to his current private foster home, and was very neglected when he arrived. He had a terrible flea and ear mite infection, so bad that his ears had to be attended to under anesthesia as the parasites and infection had literally eaten away his skin until it was bloody and sloughing off throughout his ear canals. He was in so much pain and distress from pure neglect. Angus is estimated to be 6-8 months old.

Angus has now had all his medical care taken care of and is recovering in his private foster home. Despite all this boy has been through, he is the most lovey and affectionate boy. He makes little meeps and mews every time he walks through the house - earning him the nick name "Mr. Beep Beep". He is very good with other cats. His ideal home would have a human who is wanting a very affectionate, velcro cat to always be by their side. He will greet you at the door as soon as you get home, and follow you from room to room to always be by your side. He also loves to cuddle and play with other friendly cats. You truly could not ask for a more lovey boy with a better personality.

While he is already a handsome boy, with some good nutrition and care his coat will likely come in more and he will be even more gorgeous than he is now in a few months.

If you're ready to offer Angus the love, stability and safety he never had before, please contact his private foster home directly. His adoption includes neuter, Feluk/FIV testing, vaccinations, veterinary exam and all treatment for fleas, ear mites, worms and other parasites - as well as the healing and treatment of his ears.
