Angus's Story

Angus
Approximate DOB: 9/25/22
Adoption fee $225

Angus, also called Bubby, is an endearing cat in so many ways. He enjoys playing and socializing with people but is also quite content snuggling up for lap time.

He’s only been in foster care since September 2025. It took him some time to feel settled and connected to his person and will take time to connect to his new family as well. He needs someone patient and kind to let him blossom on his own terms.

This handsome guy enjoys entertaining himself and monitoring the outside world through his windows. He’s not a fan of being picked up, but that could change in the future. His preference is gentle, conscious, slow petting when he asks for it and lap time when he’s ready!

Angus likes playing with a couple of different wand toys and a few rechargeable interactive cat toys. His favorite are the wand toys. He can be a rowdy player, but needs the excitement and exercise to burn off his kitten energy.
.
With gradual introductions he’d likely be fine with another gentle cat or totally happy as an only cat. A calm, adult home would be best for Angus.

He is up to date on his rabies and FVRCP vaccines, is neutered, tested negative on the FeLV/FIV test, and is flea treated and microchipped.

The first step in our adoption process is the application which can be found on our website lapcats.org.

All of our cats have tested negative for FELV and are vaccinated. If they have been rescued as kittens under 4 months, they will not have a rabies vaccine. They have not only been spayed or neutered but have also been treated for worms, fleas, and have been micro chipped.

We will register their microchip for you, provide you with a free exam visit to a participating Sacramento veterinarian, and a goodie bag! We do not do out of state adoptions for the safety of our cats.
