Angie's Story

Angie (also known as “Angel Eyes”) is a beautiful tan and gray tabby with fluffy, soft fur, a white chin, a pink nose, and sparkly green eyes surrounded by stripes which make her look like she has long eyelashes!
Sadly, Angie’s owners had to move and could not take her with them. It has been a rough and confusing time for her, but since she has been receiving loving care with the foster team at United Paws, Angie’s sweet personality continues to shine.
Although she certainly lives up to her given name of “Angel Eyes,” she prefers “Angie” and even knows her name!! This petite sweetheart has an endearing quality of “chirping or trilling” rather than speaking in traditional “meows”!! In addition, Angie is affectionate, curious, and independent. She loves to play a little bit each day, but her foster describes her as “generally low maintenance.”
When it is playtime, Angie loves anything attached to a wand!! She chases mice toys and enjoys batting around felt balls or ping pongs. Angie is not much of a “lap kitty” (yet) but when it is naptime or nighttime, she always sleeps close to her human. When it is time for a cat bath, Angie grooms herself daily but loves to be brushed. Her long hair is fun to brush and comb! She doesn’t mind being picked up or handled, she loves to scratch on her scratching posts and she always uses her litter box. She is learning to enjoy different kinds of wet food, but so far, Angie mostly enjoys her dry crunchies.
The ideal home for Angie will be with an experienced pet owner who will give this sweet girl plenty of time to adjust and relax in her new surroundings. A slow introduction to friendly cats or a gentle dog will most likely result in new friendships. Once Angie feels safe and secure, knowing she is in her forever home, she will reward you with chirps, trills, and be a sweet and affectionate companion making your happy home complete.
To learn more, please visit unitedpaws.org or email unitedpawshelp to schedule a Meet & Greet.
