Angelica's Story

Angelica is a special girl. Her lungs collapsed at only 11 days old! She had to be placed in a makeshift splint made from a toilet paper roll. She was so tiny but showed a determined resilience and will to live. She healed up perfectly and is such an angel (hence the name) very sweet and calm natured. Angelica is ready to bring her calm loving nature to a new family. Spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated, Angelica is ready to charm her way into her forever home. Angelica (and her brothers Peanut and Rascal) are on Special Diet gastrointestinal food for their diets.

Weatherford Whiskers's Adoption Policy

Adoption forms are online and then are reviewed by a committee. If approved, then the entire family is asked to come see the cat(s) that they are wanting to adopt so that the staff can observe that the entire family is committed to this adoption. Then formal paperwork is signed and the process is complete. Can take up to 2 weeks for this process to occur.

Our cage free facility has 5 rooms of free roaming cats with access to a catio for safe outdoor enrichment in 3 of the rooms. We rescue high risk cats and kittens from our local shelters.
