Angela's Story

She's come a long way! Very loving!

Angela was a stray that gave birth and hid her kittens in a barbeque pit. When the resident moved the pit and discovered the family, she called animal control. Angela allowed the ACO to pick her up and her 6 babies like she knew she was being helped. She was underweight, looked tired and worn out. Once in her foster home, she seemed very thankful to be in a safe place where she wouldn't have to worry about where to get her next meal and never gave her foster mom any issues. She was shy, reserved and cautious at first but also friendly. She has flourished in foster! She likes being petted and is currently getting used to being held and loved on. Being inside seems to be new to her, but she'd adjusting well, loves to explore and she even gets along with the other cats and kittens in foster as well as the resident cats. Angela is so done with that outside life as she has no interest in going out into the screen-in porch at her foster home. She's a low energy, quiet cat who would appreciate being given a forever home.

Update- all her babies have been adopted. She's still in foster and grooms all the other cats and kittens in the foster home. She treats them all like her own. She loves being an inside cat and shows her appreciation every day.

Copy and paste into your browser for adoption application:
https://form.jotform.com/SJBPAnimalShelter/adoption-application
