Angel's Story

With eyes of such a light green that, in the right light, they nearly look gray, and a pattern of tabby patches on his back that look just like angel's wings, you can see right away where his name comes from!

He's earned a nickname, too, since we met him. You'll know almost immediately where THAT name came from, too. His friends call him Fundip.

During an effort to trap other cats, Angel just strolled right up to the trappers and offered himself up. To prove his good intentions, he instantly accepted the offer to play, rolling around on the ground, trying to tame a colorful fabric ribbon on a pole.

He'd previously been TNRed, but he was heartily rejecting that outdoor lifestyle and practically begging to come inside... so inside is where he is!

We reached out to the trapper and the org on his chip, to clear a path for getting him a home, and they agreed. He's fully vetted, up to date on shots and now very anxious to get into a home.

Angel does get overstimulated during play at times (who can really blame a boy who has had no real playtime before for getting excited?!) and will sometimes gently nip.

We think he'd do best in a home without young children, who may not understand his excitable nature. His temp foster has tips and tricks to share that help him calm down.

Angel also gulps, with no reason for it found through diagnostic tests. It is, at this point, a harmless mystery.

If you would like to foster Angel, click here and mention his name in your application - https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/foster/CDLY/Cat

If you would to adopt, or foster-to-adopt, Angel, you can apply on his profile page, by clicking the Apply for Adoption button here - https://new.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/212479359

And if you'd like to help keep Angel stocked with food, litter, toys and any vet care that arises, you will find a Donate button on the profile page, too.
