Angel's Story

Angel came to the Goathouse after being pulled from a kill shelter in April of 2018. Approx. DOB: 04/04/2016 If interested in adopting a Goathouse cat or kitten, following are the steps required in our process: 1. Complete our online adoption application (www.goathouserefuge.org/adoption-application/) 2. Visit the Goathouse Refuge 4. Home Visit: Once you've had an opportunity to visit and complete the online application, your responses will be reviewed by the refuge staff, and if the applicant seems to be a good fit for the cat(s) of interest, a volunteer will contact you to set up a home visit. Only after a representative of the refuge has visited the applicant's home will they consider continuing with the adoption process. Thanks and we look forward to seeing you soon!

Goathouse Refuge Inc.'s Adoption Policy

Thank you for your interest in a Goathouse Refuge cat! We are open to visitors Fridays by appointments, Saturdays and Sundays from 11am-3pm EST. Before you submit an adoption application, please make sure you are familiar with our Adoption Process (www.goathouserefuge.org/process/). To expedite the process, please complete all fields on the application. All applicants must be at least 21 years of age; please be aware that we do not adopt to undergraduate college students.
