Andy's Story

True to his name, Andy has many human-like qualities, notably his chattiness! He has a distinct meow depending on his desires. Without fault, he chirps and rolls over in bed each morning for chin rubs before he gets up for the day.

Andy appreciates affection at a distance; he regularly wants to be in the same room as you supervising your day but primarily stays at the foot of the couch or a nearby surface rather than directly on top of you. He really makes it easy to work from home! Despite how vocal he is, he refrains from waking you for breakfast in favor of being patient.

Andy is a social butterfly: eager to meet new guests and will immediately lead you to his toys or food bowl. He is quite the athlete, sprinting around with his favorite toy for the day and jumping in and out of his treasured tunnel. He's perfectly content to play on his own, sometimes fetching his toys, but values your interaction. Andy is also respectable of your schedule, and therefore won't wake you up at night with zoomies!

Andy would do well in a home with older children or adults, and we think he would be fine with other animals. If you're ready to take in a dignified and goofy partner, Andy is ready to take that role very seriously.

------------------------------------

This cat is currently located in a PAWS foster home. Please email their foster parent at hessej2@gmail.com to learn more about them!

In order to meet any cats in foster care, you will need to have an approved application first. To get the adoption process started, please submit an adoption application online at phillypaws.org/catapp.

If you have any questions for our adoption team, feel free to email adoptions@phillypaws.org or call 215-238-9901 ext. 30.
