Andy's Story

They call me Andy. Sometimes it's Andy Schmandy, or Candy Andy. I'm about 4-5 years old. I've been hanging here in this foster home for a while, but now I want one of those furever homes that I've been hearing about. I absolutely love attention! Head scratches, ear nuzzles - yes, please! They are giving me instructions on how to be a lap cat, and I've basically mastered that! I also have a playful side now that I've discovered toys!

I have to tell you though that I'm pretty picky. I'm going to need someone that knows cats. See because I've got this thing that happens to me now and then - the hoomans think it might be because I get too stressed or frightened. I've heard them use the words 'ideopathic I', (idiopathic just means they just do not know why it happens - neither do I. But what ever it is that causes it, whenever it happens, I could have problems peeing (cystitis). The good news is that with a pill or two, the problem goes away and I'm as good as new. And there's this new-fangled food that I get to eat, too. It helps to keep me calm.

Other than that special instruction, I'm really easy to get along with. A bunch of toys and a soft cushy bed and we're in business! I'm really just learning how to be a cat. I was found as a stray, and I don't know how long I was out there. Everything is new to me, so I'm going to need time to adjust to it all.

I'd love to have another cat buddy, but they would need to be friendly and not aggressive. And definitely no young children. Or dogs. Basically, the less stress the better for me!

So, can I come live with you? I'm already neutered, up to date on vaccines, flea treated, wormed, combo tested negative, and microchipped. Now I just need you to apply!

If you're interested in adopting, the first step is to fill out the application here:
http://bit.ly/3VDJfhm
