Andi's Story
Hi… I’m Andi.
I’m a beautiful brown tabby with a gentle heart and a story that took a little time to unfold.

About five years ago, I was living outside in a feral colony in Baxter, Minnesota. Back then I didn’t trust people at all. Honestly… I wanted nothing to do with them. But the humans here didn’t give up on me. They gave me something I’d never really known before… time, love, patience… and lots of food.

Slowly, little by little, I realized maybe people weren’t so scary after all.

Because of my past, my future family needs to understand that I might be shy when I first come home. I’ll probably hide and take some time to watch you from a safe spot. Trust for me doesn’t happen overnight, but once you earn it, oh my goodness… I love hard.

When I feel safe, I turn into the sweetest little lovebug. I roll around soaking up all the attention, especially if you rub my belly. That’s when I start making tiny “muffins” with my paws. If you sit on the floor, there’s a good chance I’ll wander over and rub against you, politely requesting pets.

I also love the simple things in life, basking in warm sunshine, rolling around with catnip, and snuggling up with my cat friends. I’m a big fan of what the humans here call “snuggle puddles”… basically big cozy piles of cats all cuddled together. Because of that, I’d really love a home with other feline companions.

Now… I should also mention I’m a bit of a foodie. I’ve got the cutest little belly to prove it. Treat time is one of my favorite parts of the day, especially when visitors bring those delicious lickable treats. I try to be polite, but I get pretty excited.

I’m a quiet girl, but the kind that sneaks into your heart when you least expect it.

Oh! And I recently had a dental, so my teeth are sparkling clean and ready for lots of happy, healthy years ahead.

If you have patience and a kind heart, I promise I’m worth the wait. Come meet me and see if we might be the perfect match.

You can visit me daily from 1–5 PM. I’ll be the shy little tabby who just might surprise you.

My new perfect family NEEDS to understand that it WILL take me a while to adjust at first and I WILL hide as I settle in. Give me time, patience, and use food as a tool to get me out of my shell — I really am a wonderful cat.

I am fully vetted: spayed, microchipped, FIV & FeLV negative, treated for fleas/ticks/and intestinal parasites, and up-to-date on all my vaccinations: distemper, rabies, and FeLV. I require an indoor-only home and, as with all cats — absolutely no declawing.

If you are interested in adopting Andi, please come visit… we are open daily from 1-5pm (including holidays)… we want to meet you in person! If you have any questions, feel free to email us at info@furballcats.com or message us on Facebook: Furball Farm Cat Sanctuary.
