Anchovy was living as a stray in Paris and was brought to New Hope after being trapped. He was hanging around a pizza restaurant all summer and was spotted trying to get inside when temperatures dropped, which was the inspiration for his name. He is an adult around 3 years of age and a sweet, timid boy who took quite a while at the shelter to come out of his shell, but now he enjoys pets and brushing and is very loving. A quiet, patient home without young children or active dogs would be most suitable for him. He has been fine sharing a room with other cats at the shelter, so friendly cats in the home are likely OK.
