Beautiful mature meow looking for her forever home, could it be you?!<br/><br/>Anastasia, a name fit for a Russian princess; fierce, loyal, strong, and beloved. The purrfect name for our current office rescue who is in search of a palace to call her own. <br/><br/>Ana was found in rough condition wandering a kind couple’s backyard. They were able to catch her and brought her to us to check for a microchip, hoping she was someone's missing pet but when no microchip was found and no one stepped forward to claim her - Anastasia was left a princess on the run. <br/><br/>We offered to take Ana on and rehab her little body back to health before trying to find her the kingdom she deserves. Ana came in completely emaciated, every bone in her body easily seen and with signs of a rough journey. She was covered in fleas, her paw pads had scrapped off leaving bloody, sad paws holding up her frail body, and her dehydration and exhaustion were evident. Despite the hard times, Ana immediately rubbed on everyone, purring and shoving her head into their hands as if to say - “I'm here, I made it to safety” and there was no way we couldn’t help her. <br/><br/>Anastasia has now gained a healthy amount of weight, loves to explore, has shown us her love for toys and tunnels, and is the perfect cuddle buddy. The doctor estimated her to be about 6-10 years old and she appears to have already been spayed. She uses the litter box without issue and is not destructive at all. She winds around your legs, rubbing her body on you for attention but if you need to get work done, she will politely entertain herself with a toy or nap in the cat hammock until you're ready for snuggles. She has a couple vaccines left, a dentistry, and then she is finally ready to rule again - oops we mean find a home. <br/><br/>Ana has shown she is very distrustful of other animals who try to enter her castle so she would do best in an only pet home but she is very fond of people and even when in a silly-goofy mood she doesn't use her claws or teeth to play with your extremities.
