Meet Anakin! Anakin is a stunningly handsome boy, about 10 months old, who first came to us through our TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) efforts. But it didn't take long for us to realize that this affectionate sweetheart was meant for the indoor life. With his gentle demeanor and loving personality, Anakin quickly won our hearts. He'll come right up to the front of his cage, eagerly asking for head scratches and attention. He thrives on human interaction and would love nothing more than a warm home where he can share his affection freely. Anakin is ready to leave his street days behind and become someone's cherished companion. Could that someone be you? We are open daily from 12pm-4:30pm for adoptions, rescue, and fostering! AHS-Tinton Falls's Adoption Policy

CURRENT ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS! All adopters are required to be pre-approved before coming into the shelter to meet animals by filling out an adoption application. If you rent your home please be prepared to show a current lease that states you can have pets. Email us at tintonfallsahs@ahsppz.org to have an application sent to you. Our adoption fees differ depending on the animal you are adopting. All fees include the spay or neuter of your pet, vaccines up to date, and a microchip.
