Sadly, Ana is about 8 years old and has been at the shelter almost her entire life. She is quite shy, and needs some time to warm up to people. She gets along great with other cats, especially with her sister Constance. Although she has come a long way since first coming to the shelter, gaining her trust won't be easy. But that's what makes her love so special! Although she knows only shelter life, she has come such a long way and deserves to experience a home of her own! Being in a calm, consistent, loving, home environment will really help her thrive and come out of her shell. Although we do our best to give her (and all of our animals) the best lives possible, no cat deserves to spend their whole life at a shelter! She will take a while to come around, but we know she has a sweet and playful side just waiting to come out! She recently had a dental cleaning with some extractions, so her teeth are pearly white just in time for her new home!
