Amy's Story

Amy is a beautiful white cat with striking gray tabby markings on her back and tail. She’s a dignified, reserved girl—but also loving and affectionate. Pick her up for snuggles, let her sit beside you while you work, or cuddle with her on the sofa during your favorite movies—she’s happy to be by your side.

We rescued Amy from the Chula Vista shelter, where she was sadly overlooked. Why? Because she has a feline immune deficiency. But what does that mean? Not much at all! With a healthy indoor lifestyle and a good quality wet food diet, Amy can live a long, happy life as your best friend.

At the rescue, Amy loves curling up in the wicker basket of the cat tree. She’s often there, waiting to be petted when you walk in. Our interns also know her favorite trick—spread a towel on the floor with catnip, and she’ll roll around with joy. She enjoys spending time with other cats, playing, and soaking up love and attention.

Amy longs for her forever home — one filled with love, play, and cozy companionship. If you’re looking for a gentle soul with a heart of gold, Amy is the perfect match for you.
