With good care and a low-stress indoor life, FIV+ cats can live long, happy, completely normal lives. It’s not contagious to humans or dogs, and it’s only passed to other cats through deep bite wounds (which Ambrose isn’t interested in). Ambrose is neutered, up to date on shots, and looking for a home that embraces his affectionate, attention-loving spirit. He is a big fan of toys, exploration, and lighthearted chaos. All Adoptions require a Pre-Adoption Interview with a YCAS Adoption Counselor, a meet and greet, and adoption approval. Every adoptable cat is Spayed or Neutered, implanted with a microchip, current on age appropriate vaccinations including a current 1 year Rabies Vaccination, and current on monthly Flea/tick prevention. All pets are behaviorally and medically evaluated prior to being placed up for adoption. The adoption fee is $77.
