AMBROS's Story

AMBROS and his sibling, Alroy were found in an area where there are no homes nearby. Probably dropped off by someone who figured fate would decide if they were rescued or not. Fate did decide to indeed find someone to rescue them and bring them to the shelter.

At the first, they seem joined at the hip and were not interested in coming out to meet the roomies or have anything to do with us. But who knows what terrors they had to overcome, so we were happy to give them space and time to adjust and trust. Now they are both doing better, but AMBROS is still wary and spends lots of time in the hidey.

We do not know how AMBROS would be with dogs, cats, or children. Given his nervous nature, he probably will not be good with dogs, and children should be older, use soft touch, no squeezing hugs, and understands AMBROS may not be a playmate right away.

AMBROS and his brother are handsome black/brown tigers who really need a new life of love and care. At the moment, they are a bit more independent of one another. But they still like to, occasionally, cuddle up together. AMBROS will need lots of patience and slow introductions before he can become comfortable and trusting of a new environment.

DOB-05/2025 Entered Shelter-05/2026

If you would like to adopt AMBROS, please visit the shelter during Adoption hours Monday and Wednesday from 4-7 or Saturday from 10-1.
