Amber's Story

Meet Amber! She arrived at the shelter as an owner surrender and is 3 years old. She has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Amber is the softest dilute calico you’ve ever seen. She has the kind of gentle, thoughtful eyes that seem to take everything in quietly before deciding it’s safe to trust. Still adjusting to shelter life, Amber can be a bit shy at first. But beneath that cautious exterior is an incredibly gentle and loving soul. She leans into pets once she feels secure, her purr a soft, steady hum that feels like a tiny engine of gratitude. Amber’s absolute favorite things are wet food and treats. The moment she hears the pop of a can or the crinkle of a treat bag, her sweet potato shape perks right up.

If you'd like to meet Amber you can call us at (540) 778-2101 or email animalshelter@pagecounty.virginia.gov.
