Amber's Story

Amber
Short Hair Brown Tabby Spayed Female
Estimated Birthday: 4/25/2025

Meet Amber! This sweet girl was found outside with her five siblings and picked up by local animal control. After a few months in their wonderful care, two of the siblings were adopted and in an effort to help get the remaining kittens more exposure, the shelter turned the remaining kittens over to Tigerlily. Amber is a sweetheart who loves attention and LOVES to talk. She may take time to warm up to her new family, but once she does, she will show you just how sweet she truly is. She loves to roll over for belly rubs, play with her feather wands and tell you all about her day. She will always remind you when it’s time to eat, no alarm clock necessary. She is also a big fan of Churu treats and looking out the window on her perch or cat tree. Amber would love nothing more than to find a forever home with her sister, Minnie or to a home with another feline friend for her to play with. She has been around children with no issues and would likely do well with other pets in the home with proper introductions.

Amber is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and has been treated for parasites. Her adoption fee is $125 or $200 as a pair with Minnie. All current pets must be fixed and up-to-date on vaccines.

Fill out our online application to get approved for a meet and greet:
http://www.tigerlilyrescue.com/adoption-application/

Tigerlily Cat Rescue's Adoption Policy
* We do require adopters to be at least 21 years old. * If you are leasing, we do ask that you provide a copy of your rental agreement showing that cats are allowed. * We also ask that all adults living in the home agree with the adoption and addition of a feline friend to the family. * For families with young children (under 6), kittens over 6 months are best. * If the pet is to be alone for a significant amount of time, we ask that you consider adopting an older kitten or adult, or consider adopting two kittens to keep each other company. Young kittens are susceptible to social-depression if alone for a significant amount of time. * We also discourage "gift" adoptions unless it is from a parent to a minor child. Our adoption fee of $100 (cash/check) includes feline leukemia/FIV testing, deworming, flea preventative, microchip, and age-appropriate vaccines. All Tigerlily cats are thoroughly examined by a veterinarian. All cats and kittens are spayed/neutered prior to being available for adoption.
