Amaryllis's Story
As beautiful as the flower she's named after, Amaryllis came to us from a hoarding case where around 40 cats were taken from the home. Even coming from such a difficult situation, Amaryllis is sweet, friendly - and looking for her forever home!

Amaryllis is about a year old, so she's acclimating well to a more normal life. She's a little shy at first, but just start petting her and you'll see she nuzzle into your hand. Amaryllis will need a patient adopter at first to help her acclimate in her new home, and with just a little time she'll show you how happy she is to be safe and loved. She would love to go home with another cat who can continue to help her grow and thrive in your home! But at the end of the day, all she really needs is love.

Amaryllis hasn't been around kids or dogs; everything is new for her, but we think if you take it slow and give her patience, she can acclimate to most homes. To meet this beautiful girl, fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.fatherjohns.org/adopt. You'll get an email to reply to in order to make an appointment. Appointments are required Weds/Fri. Walk ins are accepted with appointments preferred every other day.
