Meet Alyse — a true Southern lady with a heart as big as her story. She came to us in 2023 from one of our out-of-area shelter partners as a pregnant momma cat, and she proved herself to be nothing short of amazing, caring for her two babies as well as four orphaned kittens who’ve all since found their forever homes. Alyse has experienced some anxiety, which has led her to overgroom at times. With a simple, daily anxiety medication, she’s thriving — and we believe a stable, loving home could help her feel even more secure, possibly reducing or even eliminating the need for medication over time. Even if she does need a little extra support, that’s perfectly okay — everyone deserves help to feel their best. Alyse is now ready to find her forever home, settle into the lap of luxury, and shower her people with love. She enjoys spring toys to chase, weaving between your legs while you scoop the litter box, and curling up in your arms for cuddles.
