Alvie Lee's Story

Alvie Lee is a special momma kitten. She was found in a residential area and reported by a very caring person. Her litter was 10 feet from a busy intersection where her and her babies experienced starvation & exposure. It was reported she had at leqast two kittens, one did not survive. IBKC coordinated pick up where she and her remaining baby Dolly were saved. <br/>With the recent loss of Ms Dolly Parton, the foster felt fit to name her Alvie Lee after Dolly's mother. <br/>Very soon she will be spayed so she can continue to live as a healthy & loved companion. She is very beautiful and still has a kitten energy. She's been a wonderful mother to her Dolly and they are very much bonded.

Itty Bitty Kitty Committee, WV's Adoption Policy
If you would like to adopt one of our cats or kittens please visit our website wvcatrescue.org and fill out an adoption application. Please allow at least 24 hours for us to review your application and get back to you. If approved, we will arrange a day and a time to bring your new family member to your home. At that time we will collect the $75 adoption fee and have you fill out and sign the adoption contract. If a cat/kitten is marked as *Sponsored* then their adoption fee is free. We are a small network of fosters, so we do not have a facility where you can actually visit us and our kitties, unless we have an adoption event.
