ALROY's Story
ALROY and his sibling, Ambros were found in an area where there are no homes nearby. Probably dropped off by someone who figured fate would decide if they were rescued or not. Fate did decide to indeed find someone to rescue them and bring them to the shelter.

At first, they seem joined at the hip and were not interested in coming out to meet the roomies or have anything to do with us. But who knows what terrors they had to overcome, so we were happy to give them space and time to adjust and trust. Neither were hissing when we pet them and seemed to enjoy soft voices and gentle pets. Now that they have been in the shelter awhile, ALROY has become the brave brother who is out and about, though he still enjoys cuddles at naptime with Ambros.

We do not know how ALROY would be with dogs or children. He doesn't seem to mind his roommates. He's ok with children but they should be older, uses soft touch, no squeezing hugs, and understands that ALROY may not be a playmate right away.

Both brothers are healthy, and handsome black/brown tigers who really need a new life of love and care. ALROY seems to be more independent than his shyer brother, and both of these boys are going to need lots of patience and slow introductions before they become comfortable and trusting of a new environment.

DOB-05/2025 Entered Shelter-05/2026

If you would like to adopt ALROY, please visit the shelter during Adoption hours Monday and Wednesday from 4-7 or Saturday from 10-1.
