Almond

Almond is the sweetest cat who was rescued from the streets with her 3 very young kittens...we don't know how long she had been out there but it was at least a year. Despite that she was the very best of mums and her babies were very healthy!<br/><br/>It is now Almonds turn to be cared for and we are looking for a family who can shower her with the love and care she deserves.<br/><br/>Almond is a very laid back gentle cat, who likes to be around her humans...she will sit at the door waiting for you and greet you with a little chirrup and a rub on the legs. She is a chatty cat, but her chatter is very quiet and more of a chirrup than a meow. She will sit on your lap if you pick her up and stroke her, but she prefers just to be near you and for you to pet her.<br/><br/>Almond seems to be ok with other cats...indeed she tends to not really pay them much attention, so we think with careful introductions with other friendly cats she will get on fine.<br/><br/>We think Almond will be happiest in a home with older children.... 8 years and above...and somewhere where she will have some company during the day.
