Alley Cat's Story

Alley Cat was living in the downtown Shelburne area for a long time. People would see Alley Cat sitting outside the old Co-Op and in the back alleys. He would go behind the Shelburne Library and was being fed by neighbours in the area. Alley cat looked very Sick and like he needed to come in immediately. It was not until a kind resident beside the library offered to watch a trap for us. Sure enough, Alley Cat started eating out of the trap and was eventually trapped. On intake he had a severe respiratory infection and needed rounds of antibiotics. He did NOT like people at first but now, he has built trust with us all and is welcoming petting and attention.

This boy needs and deserves a second chance at a loving indoor life with a family that will keep him safe and warm inside. He has had such a hard life. We would want this boy to live his Best Life and to have a family of his own. Please come have a visit. We are sure he will win you over with his charm. We have included a picture of him on intake. You can see the difference in him by being at the shelter for 3 months recovering.
