ALLAN's Story
Meet Allan, a handsome little guy who may need some time to decide that you're his person—but once he does, you'll have a loyal little shadow who wants to be wherever you are. Allan is a slow-to-warm-up kind of kitten. Give him some patience, playtime, and the opportunity to feel safe, though, and you'll soon start to see his sweet personality emerge. His favorite things include wand toys, zooming around with his sister, Madeline Usher, and simply being near his people. Allan doesn't always climb into your lap, but he definitely wants to know where you are. If you're relaxing on the couch, he'll find a spot nearby. If you're at the table, he'll settle in close. He's happiest when his person is within sight. Allan gets along well with his older cats. He especially enjoys the company of other kittens. Allan is the kind of kitten who reminds you that sometimes the best relationships are the ones you earn slowly. He needs someone willing to give him the time and patience to feel safe and comfortable. In return, you'll get a sweet companion who wants to be right there beside you for all of life's little adventures. So, why did we name him Allan? First of all, it just fits him. Those big ears and that little face practically scream Allan. But there is a little family history behind his name. His mom is Lanore, his dad is Edgar, and his littermates are Poe, Raven, and Madeline Usher.
