Alfredo

Alfredo, a 9 year old lover of treats and humans, is looking for a quiet home, a comfortable sofa, and someone who will feed him treats any time he wants (he's a food lover and it's the way to his heart). Alfredo loves to be where the people are, but he likes his personal space. He prefers to be next to you and not on top of you, which is actually great if you're trying to get work done or read a book. Alfredo can be vocal and chirps when he's getting pets, he loves open windows and laying in sunbeams, and he will get a bit of the zoomies and play with his mouse on occasion. He gets along great with the cat and dog in the home and would prefer a home with a feline companion. His long fur requires lots of brushing but luckily being brushed is his most favorite thing. I think he likes being brushed more than he likes food. Alfredo had all of his teeth removed due to severe dental disease but that doesn't stop him from eating anything; he loves canned food, dry food and every type of treat he's come across. Alfredo has asthma and requires an inhaler. He is so good about his treatments because he knows there is food afterwards.<br/><br/>To adopt you must first complete an adoption application and meet the cat in its foster home. We do not do same day adoptions so, generally, we can only adopt within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
