Meet Alfredo! This handsome, gentle man was found trying to make his way in the world outdoors after his owner passed away. As a result, he had a number of medical procedures to get through before showing off his loving personality to the world. Thanks to excellent care from his foster mom, he has made it through his medical procedures and remains an incredibly sweet boy. Now he is looking for a quiet home that will love him for the rest of his life. <br/><br/>Alfredo's personality is still unfolding as his health improves and he settles in to his foster home, but he loves attention and he goes bonkers for Delectable lickable treats. He gets along great with the cat and dog in the home. His long fur requires lots of brushing but luckily being brushed is his most favorite thing. Alfredo had all of his teeth removed due to severe dental disease and he almost exclusively eats soft/canned food. <br/><br/>Alfredo needs an adopter with cat experience who will be patient as he settles in. Loud noises and fast movements scare him so he also needs a home without small children. He would love to have a feline friend though.<br/><br/>To adopt you must first complete an adoption application and meet the cat in its foster home. We do not do same day adoptions so, generally, we can only adopt within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
