Look, all cats are special, but Alfie? Alfie is truly the total package. <br/><br/>Alfie is the epitome of a friendly lap cat. He is confident, affectionate, and sweet as can be. He loves to spend his days being in whatever room you're in, bird watching, playing with his catnip and wand toys, and curling up on your lap whenever you will let him. At night, he'll join you in bed, curling up on your chest as he gently makes biscuits and purrs himself (and you!) to sleep. <br/><br/>How did such a boy find himself in need of rescuing? We don't really know! He showed up in someone's backyard in Crown Heights, Brooklyn crying desperately at the back door to be let in. He was clearly friendly and nervous so we didn't hesitate to bring him right inside. But when we tried to reunite him with his family we could never find them. No one responded to our "found pet" flyers and he wasn't microchipped. We might never know why but sweet boy Alfie is in need of a new family. <br/><br/>And what a lucky family they shall be! As a confident and gentle cat, Alfie is really the perfect addition to most any family. He gets along with whoever he meets, would be great with kids, and will likely do just fine with other friendly cats and dogs (so long as proper introductions are followed.) <br/><br/>Alfie is estimated to be 1 years old and has a clean bill of health.
