Meet Alexa, a sweet female cat around 3 years old who is looking for a loving home. Alexa came to us as a stray and, presumably, has had limited previous interactions with people. She's understandably fearful but is making steady progress through our socialization program.<br/><br/>Alexa is gradually learning to trust and adapt to indoor life, and we hope that, in time, she will come to appreciate the comfort and security of being a housecat. She'll need a patient and understanding person who can help her continue to build confidence and feel secure. Her ideal forever family will have some experience with fearful and shy cats, to help her come out of her shell.<br/><br/>Alexa has entered into the foster program and since then she is making great strides. <br/><br/>If you have a warm heart and the time to offer Alexa the gentle support she needs, she has the potential to blossom into a loving and loyal companion.
