Alex the cat's Story

Meet Alex

Alex is a sweet, shy 1-year-old brown tabby domestic short hair who dreams of finding a loving home. At first, he may be a little reserved, but once he warms up, he will want your attention all the time—and he isn’t shy about letting you know! Alex loves to chat and is incredibly expressive, sharing his feelings in the cutest ways.

He’s also full of energy and curiosity. Alex loves to play, explore, and especially chase his favorite teaser wand toy, leaping high with excitement to catch it. He will investigate every nook and cranny, cautious but determined, before curling up for a cozy nap and plenty of head rubs.

Alex may do best in a quieter home or with older children, as he can be sensitive to loud noises or barking dogs. While he hasn’t lived with other cats before, we believe he could enjoy a feline companion with a slow, patient introduction.

Alex is ready to find a patient, loving family who will give him the time and affection he deserves—he promises to fill your home with love, purrs, and playful energy!

Please head to our website to fill out an application prior to setting up a meet. Once your adoption application is approved we will contact you to set up a meeting. http://nwac-oregon.org/adoption-application/

The $140 adoption fee Includes spay/neuter, microchip, worming and flea treatment, current vaccines for their age, and a vet exam. Negative test for FIV and FeLV.

Northwest Animal Companions is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the pets in our care.
