Alec was given up by a family that wasn’t able to give him the care and attention he needed. He is 11 months old and was neutered on 1/2/26. He is very curious and likes to explore his surroundings. He is curious about the other cats so may do well in a household with other cats. He is very comfortable around kids and very good about being picked up and handled. The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application at https://www.medfieldshelter.com/adoption-forms/cat. If you are ready to adopt, please fill out an adoption application. We offer same-day adoptions, so if the cat is a fit, you can take them home the day of your meeting. If a cat is listed on our website, it is still available for adoption, but applications may have been received before yours. All adoption meetings are by appointment only. The adoption fee for cats seven months to two years old is $250 for one cat and $350 for a pair; for cats three years to ten years old, it is $200 for one cat and $300 for a pair; and for senior cats 11 years and over, it is $125. The fee includes age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, microchip testing, testing for FeLV and FIV, and spaying/ neutering.
