Albert's Story

Albert is a classic dark brown tabby with extra toes on all four paws. He came to HART through no fault of his own and is 11 years old. At first, he was understandably sad and confused to leave his home, but he is now relaxed and shows his sweet, loving purrsonality. He is a gentle boy who loves human attention, and catnip toys. You'll usually find him comfortably perched in a cat tree, looking hopefully for some petting and loving attention. Although he came in with his brother, Theodore, we don't feel that they are bonded. (Although it would be really nice to have them go home together....)

Like many aging cats, Albert has some medical concerns, including chronic discharge from his eyes, some signs that he could have kidney issues in the future, and a sensitive digestive system. We manage him with a once a day medication, fluids under skin a couple times a week, plus we feed him a limited ingredient diet of duck. Our Medical Team requires that Albert go to an experienced home and that his adopters has an established veterinarian relationship.

Albert is a wonderful boy who will thrive in a loving, quiet home.. Come meet this amazing kitty in Room 1-he will just melt your heart!

Go to our website, www.hartofme.org, to submit your online application today!

***FKA = Formerly Known As
