Alba's Story

Meet Alba! Our owl eyed mama cat who is searching for her new home.

When Alba was brought in to us she was clearly unwell. After speaking with veterinary professionals at Center Valley Vet, it was determined that she was suffering from a diaphragmatic hernia. In other words something had caused her the organs into her abdomen to be pushed through her diaphragm an into her chest. Surgery was preformed to help repair the damage and move everything back into place, and she made a miraculous recovery. Since then she has been thriving. She's grown from a quietly exhausted cat to a happy, loving cat with a serene demeanor to her.

Alba is assumed to be roughly two years old. She came in with her one daughter who has since been adopted. Like all pets in SCAA, she has been spayed and vaccinated.

If you would like to meet her or learn more please reach out to SCAA at 208-267-7504.
