Alade's Story

Alade is the sweetest little girl. She is the shy kitten out of her littermates. While it took her the longest to trust people, she now purrs non-stop during head scratches. Her favorite toys are springs and fuzzy rattle balls. She loves to play-wrestle with her brother and zoom all about with her sister. She also really enjoys watching the grown-up cats of the house. She will follow them around and cuddle up to any adult cat that is willing to cuddle. She is nimble and loves to explore. She has perfected her climbing and leaping skills despite her young age. If you think she can't jump a certain distance, she will prove you wrong when she goes sailing past, only to stick a perfect 10 out of 10 landing. She has the loudest voice and a very good appetite! She never scratches, but she will grip onto a blanket or bed if you try to move her before she is ready to be moved. She has never bitten, even when she was in her most nervous state upon first being rescued. She may be timid, but she has a heart of gold and a gentle soul.

Please keep an eye on her if she is around cords. She sometimes can't resist chomping on them! She does not like the vacuum on cleaning day. But who can blame her? It's so loud, and she does get nervous about abrupt things.

This silky girl is as golden as some of her stripes. Her coat feels like pure velvet, and she wants someone willing to let her join them in their room for bedtime. She is looking for a calm adopter who gives her the time and space to open up. She wants to be with you even if she isn't on top of you at all times. You might even wake up to her sleeping across from you on the bed after a while. She will love you and tell you all about it once she gets to know you. She holds her happy tail high as soon as she plucks up the courage!

send us a message for an application for adoption!
