AK • Adventure Kitty's Story
Age: around 8
Weight: 8ish lbs
Breed: American shorthair

Adventure Kitty is a shy grey tabby. She's been an indoor cat but occasionally likes to escape a poorly latched door to go on an adventure (she's always back within 10 minutes). She has no health problems we know of. She eats standard Purina cat food with no issues and typically likes to sleep on/under the bed, or in a cozy cat bed.

Adventure Kitty is not fond of other pets - she will hiss as a warning, but has never shown any signs of aggression, she just runs away and hides. She has been around our infant and 8-year-old with zero issues but stays away from them if she can help it. She takes a little while to warm up to new places and people (we took her in a few years ago when our neighbor abandoned her), but after a few weeks, she is VERY affectionate with the adults of the house. She will curl up on your lap for pets and to snooze, especially on cold days.

AK uses her litter box with no issues whatsoever.

NOTE: AK's family is moving and cannot take AK with them. She needs a new home by November 19th.

To fill out an adoption application, please go to http://nevadacountypaws.org/forms-menu/adoption-application.

A home check and re-home fee apply.

Nevada County PAWS is a not for profit placement assistance program. The main goal is for pets in the program to go from their current home into their new home without having to go through the animal shelter process thereby creating more space in our animal shelters for animals who truly need shelter.
