AK's Story
Meet AK - A Fiercely Loyal Companion Searching for Her Forever Person!

AK isn't just any cat--she's looking for her person, the one she can bond with for life. She's not interested in temporary homes or just any adopter. She wants someone who will love and understand her strong-willed, deeply affectionate personality. If you earn her trust, AK will be your shadow, your confidant, and your most devoted friend.

This sun-worshipping tabby loves to lounge in warm spots, soaking up the light like the queen she is. She prefers being the only cat in the house--after all, with her big personality, you won't need another! She probably won't charm you at first glance--AK is suspicious of strangers--but give her time, and she'll reward you with a bond like no other.

If you love cats with bold personalities, who know what they want and aren't afraid to tell you, AK is begging for a chance. She just needs the right person to see past her tough exterior and give her the forever home she's been waiting for. Could that be you?
When adopting a kitten, consider a second kitten to avoid "single kitten syndrome". Two kittens keep each other busy, get into less trouble, are better socialized and can keep each other company while you're gone.

When introduced properly, most cats and kittens adjust well to children and other pets in the home. It's critical that cats have a safe place to retreat to if interactions become overwhelming and that all early interactions are well supervised. If you already have a cat, please talk to us about how to introduce them to each other successfully.

All our cats and kittens are litter box trained, spayed or neutered, up-to-date on shots and worming and have been treated for fleas. They also are microchipped with a complimentary registration fee.

The fee for all our cats and kittens is $200 plus tax, with a $50 discount for adopting a second cat or kitten.

If you're interested in adopting, please complete an application at www.catspawjamas.org.

If you're "just browsing", consider making a donation to our rescue via our website to help us continue to save cats and kittens at risk of death or homelessness.
