Aja

Aja is another momma cat from a shelter partner that has been with us since 2023. She took great care of her babies but needed some work before she was ready for adoption. She is very skittish and prefers life on her own terms. She is much braver in the presence of her friend Ali Patterson, also a momma cat from 2023. They came together, raised their babies in foster together and have bonded over those experiences. When she is in the mood for it, she will surprise you by coming out to brush up against your legs and asking for pets. Although these occasions aren’t very regular they are becoming more frequent and when they happen it is so wonderful to watch her let down those walls for a moment and let the love in. Aja would likely do better with older children 10+ with her reserved nature.
