This beautiful jet-black kitty spent her early years surviving on the streets, bravely raising a litter of kittens in a caring lady’s backyard. Thanks to that kind neighbor and a dedicated rescue group, Agatha and her kittens found safety and warmth in foster care. While her kittens all found their forever homes in 2024, Agatha needed a little more time—her rough start in life made her understandably shy and cautious around people.<br/><br/>Since the fall of 2024, Agatha has been blossoming in her foster home, especially around other cats. She’s still learning to fully trust humans, but her progress has been wonderful to witness. These days, Agatha eagerly comes looking for pets at feeding time, and while she might still be a bit nervous if you reach out at other times, she absolutely LOVES to play with toys with her foster.
