I was found in the parking lot under a car. I was estimated to be around 7 weeks old then. I was a mess.. full of fleas . Stressed to the max. I apparently had a hole in my lung from trauma. I had air pockets under my skin that sounded like rice crispies. My hip area was swollen and bruised. The store contacted my foster mom who took me in. I needed food and plenty of rest.. I did a lot of eating and sleeping the first 3-4 days. Slowly the air pockets went away as the hole in my lung healed. (Doc says good strong lungs now)As the swelling went down in my hip area it was apparent there was something wrong with my right leg. Mom took me to vet for xray. Turns out my leg was BROKEN when I was about 3 weeks old and it was now healing back together. Doc says the injury was estimated to be 4 weeks old. I had a really rough start in my little life. Why did the bad people have to hurt me? I'm glad I was rescued. I get around EXTREMELY well (and fast) on my legs. You might not ever know I had a previous injury. I will probably have a leg shorter than the other as I grow up, but that's not stopping me from loving life! I am in a house with other cats and 2 big dogs.I love toys and I love to Purr!
