Adopted - Porge

Porge was adopted with Mudhorn in August 2026!<br/><br/>Porge arrived about ten days after her littermates, small, malnourished, and dealing with an infected, swollen left eye. With treatment, the swelling and redness cleared, but she's left permanently blind in that eye. It hasn't slowed her down one bit; she doesn't startle even when approached from her blind side, and she throws herself fully into playtime, rolling and tussling with her littermates with the same enthusiasm as any of them.<br/><br/>Once she was dewormed, treated for fleas, and given time for her immune system to recover, she started catching up fast. Her rusty-red fur eventually shed away to reveal a beautiful calico coat underneath, and now she looks like just another kitten in the group, indistinguishable from the rest.<br/><br/>She loves a good lap-petting session and enjoys being brushed. She's great in the litter box and does well with nail trims. She also has an independent streak: sometimes shell grab a toy and wander off to play solo, marching to her own beat, though she's just as happy joining in with the group.<br/><br/>She's good with adults, kids, and other cats. Her experience with dogs is unknown, so a dog-free introduction period would be a good idea if you have one at home.<br/><br/>How I Came to PGSPCA<br/><br/>Not every rebel joins the fight at the same time. While her littermates were already finding their footing in the secret base, Porge was still out in the colony, growing weaker by the day, fighting off parasites and an infection that clouded her left eye.<br/><br/>By the time she arrived, she was the smallest and sickest of the group, an underdog if there ever was one. But she had more fight in her than her size let on. With steady care, she began to heal, and as her strength returned, so did something unexpected: her scruffy, rust-colored coat gave way to a striking calico pattern hidden underneath all along.<br/><br/>Though she carries the mark of her rough start, permanently blind in one eye, it hasn't slowed her down. Now fully recovered, vaccinated, and ready for her next mission, Porge is searching the galaxy for the one thing every good story needs: a furever home.<br/><br/>Dream Home<br/><br/>An ideal home for Porge is one that looks past her scars and sees the love and tenderness she's ready to give. Shed love a home that plays with her while still giving her the freedom to do her own thing.<br/><br/>She's nearly a twin to Mudhorn, both in looks and in energy, making the two a great match for adoption.
