Adopted - Mudhorn's Story
Mudhorn was adopted with Porge in August 2026!

When Mudhorn first joined us, she was timid and tended to hide alongside a few of her littermates. Over time, she's learned to trust her humans, though she's still not the type to walk up and hop into a lap on her own. Pick her up and place her there, though, and with calm petting, shell settle right in, purring once she feels safe and secure. She responds best to calm, slow-moving kids and adults.

Despite her shyness around people, she's a different cat during playtime, tussling happily with her littermates and going all in on her favorite toy: feathers on a string. She eats well and has grown steadily while in care.

She's good with adults, kids, and other cats. Her experience with dogs is unknown, so a dog-free introduction period would be a good idea if you have one at home.

How I Came to PGSPCA

In a galaxy not so far away (okay, just next door), a small colony of cats had been living wild for years, multiplying in the shadows with no one looking out for them. Kittens would come and go, and no one really knew what became of them once they wandered off.

Then a family of rebels intervened. Determined to give these younglings a real shot at life, they smuggled the newest litter out of the colony and into a secret base (also known as the spare bathroom). It wasn't glamorous, but it was safe, and that was enough to change everything.

The kittens arrived scrappy and small, fighting off infections that clouded their eyes. But with steady care and the Force of a good vet team behind them, they healed. Now, fully recovered, vaccinated, and ready for their next mission, they're searching the galaxy for the one thing every good story needs: a FURever home.

Dream Home

Mudhorn would do best introduced to a small space at first, giving her a few days to get familiar with her surroundings before gradually opening up the rest of the home. Unlocking new spaces slowly, rather than all at once, will help keep her from retreating and hiding right away.

She needs to be adopted with a companion her age. In a more active household, Bantha, Sarlac, or Porge would make good matches. For a calmer home, Purrgil would be a great fit — the two are already known to cuddle together.

My Profile
Age: 19 weeks
Weight: 4.41 lbs
Good with kids: Yes
Good with other cats: Yes

Meet Me
If you are interested in Mudhorn, consider letting us know by filling out a (no-obligation) adoption application.
