Admiral Boo's Story

Admiral Boo AKA Peekaboo's foster says: If you are the lucky person to adopt this very special sweet, shy kitten, you will not be disappointed. While she is working on trusting, she will be very entertaining.
Her most endearing skill is to carry small fuzzy balls around, then hook it with her claw for the purpose of tossing for herself to chase. She does this several times a day until she loses it under something. A couple of times I have found the little ball in my bed in the morning. She will quietly play around your chair when you're watching TV and follow you from room to room. She has been a challenge to get near, but is making progress every week. She will sleep near me on the back of the sofa, and on my bed at night. Every morning now, she has allowed me to pet and scratch her on her head and she purrs sweetly. She clearly likes to be petted but has had some kind of trauma that has made her fearful.

Now here is something she did a few days ago. I accidentally locked her brother Scarab in a room. I noticed her laying by the door to that room...and had brought along Scarabs favorite toy (his fuzzy white mouse) and set it by the door! I was so touched at this gesture. She never plays with that toy, but he carries it all over the house and even puts it in the bed with me at night.

Because she is extremely reactive to fast movement and loud noises, I feel that best fit for her would be in a quiet, adult only home. Other pets should be fine.

Peekaboo is a very sweet little kitten that may require time and patience...but she will be worth it! I'm very excited that she is slowly coming out of her shell.
Will you be her special person?
