Acorn's Story

I start purring the second you pick me up, and my fur is soft all over and my ears are especially soft (and big). I’ll be your constant companion when you’re reclined as I like to sit on laps and observe the world from there. I've met big dogs, children and other cats and I was myself with them.

As with my siblings, I have started my kittenhood vaccines and will have a microchip. And I’m very good with the litter box. My foster parent is arranging for my hernia and neuter surgery after that I'll be ready for adoption.

We orange fellas are known for being friendly and loving and I’m not letting the tribe down. Like my siblings, my fur is soft with white underneath – I might be a little fluffier than the standard short-hair. My nose is pink and my eyes are changing color from blue to I’m not sure.

I’m a big chaser of toys – not a jumper - and after a big spurt of kitten energy I’m a sleepy head. Perhaps it’s because I’m growing that I need so much sleep. I’m not aggressive like my older brother who tackles other kittens and people’s feet. I like to think a little more and plan my attack on toys.

I’m from West Seattle and was raised by my mother, Emma, with my two brothers and sister. Emma has returned to her place as the neighborhood stray, and I’m ready to find a permanent home with my brother Zeus (whom I'd love to be adopted with if you have room) . Please call my foster parent to arrange to meet me and weekday evenings between 6 and 9 and on weekends.
