Acorn's Story

Cute, cuddly, and just a little bit mischievous, ACORN is a short-haired brown tabby kitten on the hunt for his forever home. Acorn always finds fun activities to keep him busy, from wrestling with his sister to chasing spring toys around the house. When he's worn out, he'll snuggle in your lap or on your shoulder for a nap. As a curious kitten, Acorn does enjoy exploring and has been known to sneak into places where he shouldn't. Since he may try to sneak out open doors or windows, it's best to keep an eye on him when leaving or entering the room or house, distracting him with a toy if possible. Acorn was brought to our cat rescue with his litter mate, Nutella, when they were found as strays without their mother. They were cared for and socialized by a loving foster family, but now both are ready for their own forever home. As an active, young kitten, it's important that Acorn be adopted into a home with another kitten or playful young cat. Since he gets along well with his sister, Nutella, they may enjoy going home together. Acorn is sure to bring fun and love into your home and be a welcome addition to your family.

ACORN has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet Acorn in foster, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at the store. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. The $175 ($320/2 kittens) adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
